@holdernessmedia has announced this free app for remixing tunes by Electronic music artist Landwhale. The UI is based on their Waviary app.
The Landwhale app features introspective, atmospheric electronic music that spans genres from 80s synth-pop to contemporary dub influenced electronica. Vocal samples are twisted into deep, haunting tones that blend seamlessly with lush, moody soundscapes.
The music is simultaneously ambient and beat-oriented, merging other-worldly textures and dense rhythmic patterns in a style that recalls Aphex Twin, Radiohead and Burial.
Midi Studio is a modular MIDI control surface for iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad. It supports sending CoreMidi messages over a Wi-Fi network using the UDP protocol for sending and receiving MIDI messages. The application allows to remote control and receive feedback from software and hardware that implement the MIDI protocols such as Apple Logic Pro/Express, Ableton Live, Max for Live, Cubase, Pro Tools, FL Loops and many others. The interface provides a number of different touch controls to send and receive messages: Faders / Rotary controls / Encoder controls / Push buttons / Toggle buttons / XY pads / LEDs / Labels, etc. Warning: This app is a Midi controller and does not include a sound engine or synth.

WaveSynth Pro has 2 modes for playing various musical instruments. Includes sound tones such as piano, guitar, trumpet, strings, flute, drums, percussions, and more.
“Performance Mode”: Playing 2 layered instruments.
“GM Mode”: Recommended for playing GM compatible MIDI files. Instruments and parameters from each part can be edited and performance of each part is also displayed.
The keyboard can be selected by 1 octave keyboard or 2 octave keyboard on the display. The most suitable octave is assigned automatically but you can simply change it as you see fit.
Touch velocity support using accelerometer allows rich performance.
In addition to normal keyboard play, various expressions can be added by the Pitch Bend Controller, Portamento, and Mono Mode.
