ExtraSlice by Strange Agency allows you to juggle beats, chop, screw, shuffle, dice, and slice audio loops on the fly. They also make one of my very favorite apps called MegaCurtis.
ExtraSlice is available for $0.99

Click Space is some kind of a glitch 5 track groovebox. Each track has assignable volume, pan, gate, speed (pitch), attack, and decay times.
Features:
25 samples.
Audio Copy/Paste.
Sample looping.
Pattern switch.
Master effect unit with LP distortion, digital lofi effect, and a short delay.
The interesting thing (which differs this app from other grooveboxes) is shuffle editor. You may define overall shuffling patterns in addition to common beat patterns. So you could make some jazzy grace notes and non straight beats. There is a bit of automation for pitch. You can use variation to bring more life into your beat sequence.
The word “lite” means it has NO RECORDING (only pattern saving) and song editor yet.

Jordan Rudess is back again with another wicked app for the iPad. Ladies and gentlemen, Tachyon by Wizdom Music.
Do you want to play an electric guitar and a piano at the same time? What about choosing the electrifying buzz of a drill and blending it into the soothing tone of a human voice? Jordan Rudess and Kevin Chartier’s Tachyon gives you all these options and more.
From the makers of the award winning app, MorphWiz, comes a new creation that allows images and sound to become one as they magically blend under your fingertips. Each note you play is an individual expression, allowing independent control of pitch and tone far beyond that of traditional instruments.
Most instruments only allow you to play one sound at a time, but with Tachyon, you can seamlessly blend between any two sounds as you slide your fingers up and down the screen.
The visual experience of Tachyon is just as mesmerizing. As you move along the playing surface, a field of twinkling stars morphs into the shape of your selected instrument, allowing a direct correlation between sight and sound.
As described by Jordan Rudess, “Tachyon is simple to use and at the same time offers a unique musical expressive power. The sonic core of the app is a custom crafted sound set from my personal library, encompassing sounds as familiar as those you would find in your home toolbox, and as exclusive as the ones I use on tour with Dream Theater.”
Whether you’re a seasoned musician looking for a next generation instrument to further express your creativity, or just a regular Joe browsing the app store looking for a fun and simple purchase that will delight the whole family, Tachyon is the app for you!
“Tachyon will allow you to get very deep into the sonics of a sample. You can do things like get a hundred thousand points of automation inside of a ten second sample. You can freely draw your automation, you can put in points and you can put in steps. In addition to all that, you can also convert one kind of automation to another. You’ve got things like formant filters in it to get vowel-type sounds. It’s got bit crushers and ring modulators and other types of filters and ways to change the pitch. Basically you’re just drawing everything. The end result can be moved into anything that will play a .wav file or an .aiff file. You can put it directly into SampleWiz so you can play it in SampleWiz or GeoSynth.”
Tachyon is available for $1.99
