– This app is at its best when its used as an AUv3 plugin/extension inside a host app. It has been tested extensively in GarageBand, AUM, Cubasis and BeatMaker 3.
Korg announced Electribe Wave which is marketed for EDM producers. It comes with a hefty amount of aggressive sounding wavetables and cool motion automation to achieve some wicked Dubstep and Drum and Bass type growls. There aren’t a whole lot of presets (only 25) but there are quite a bit of drum samples. It is not an audio unit nor is does it support IAA. You can not import your own wavetables and samples either perhaps in a future update. There is also a Koass pad type X/Y pad.

Unlike a PCM synth, the wavetable allows you to repeatedly play fragments of short waveforms, and change the waveform position during playback. By combining the wavetable (which features a rich variety of presets) with a powerful filter and two modulation units, you can create an infinite number of innovative and sharp sounds that cannot be produced using standard PCM synths.
