*** Note: this is an Audio Unit Effect Plugin (AUv3) which requires a compatible host or DAW to work. ***
Kosmonaut is Multitap Delay with a twist. In addition to adding echoes to your audio, it packs a bunch of extra tools to put your music in space:
– Tape looper with with variable sound-on-sound decay level
– 4-Tap Delay (placed in series for complex feedback loops)
– LP/HP filters with LFO
– Autopanner
– Ambiance Generator
– Haas Effect Processor (aka ‘wavefront precedence effect’)
All features are demonstrated extensively in a ton of factory presets, and you can easily add your own user presets, which will automatically carry over across different host apps.
All variables are exposed as AU Parameters in hosts which support automation.
It also has a smart Random-feature, which may come up with usable results 🙂
FAC Transient as is suggested by the name is an outstanding dynamics processor providing precise design and control of the attack and sustain stages of your instruments. Transient designers or shapers are often associated with drum enhancements and only the best of them are versatile enough to suit most of the scenarios. Of course, you know that FAC takes pride in ensuring versatility in its product line, providing subtle to drastic changes. FAC Transient is no exception to the rule.
To meet this objective and to be ready for all the situations: drums, guitars, bass, vocal and much more. FAC Transient includes, in addition to the classic amplification or attenuation of the attack and sustain portion of your instrument, a fine control of the detection circuit involved in the processing.
Without going into technical details, there are three envelopes built from their respective detection circuits. The first one is the contour of the input signal, this includes similar processing available in Maxima and brings you control of the treshold, time and detector algorithm. The second and third one define the contour of the attack and sustain portions and brings you a total control of the depth and duration of each stage.
FAC Transient gives you all you need to design the shape of your instruments and provides them the place they deserve in your mix.
Echo effect Audio Unit V3 inspired by the mayan pyramids acoustic echo. I come up with a complex phase modulated frequency of the echo so you can change it’s frequency signature. It is kind of changing the material of the reflective surface and I called it “Stone F”.
I have made the echo to sound more music friendly to me but there is button called “UFO” and if you press it the effect is more close to the mayan just shifting the frequency backwards (I liked that better). You can also control the feedback of the phase modulation.
The effect can work as a stand alone app and as an audio unit AUV3 plug-in.
Stone Echo is an effect that is heavy on the CPU
Controls:
– Time – time offset of the echo
– Stone F – frequency response of the echo
– Feedback – echo feedback
– Level – the volume of the echo
– UFO – heavy modulated echo
Poison-202 is a professional Vintage Midi Synthesizer. Made by musicians for musicians, it is inspired by famous classic hardware synthesizers of 80’s and 90’s and has all the main sound creation blocks you can imagine: oscillators, cutoff Filters, ADSR-envelopes, ring, cross modulation, LFOs, sync, super-saw oscillator and more! Unlike many other software synthesizers at the market, which can reproduce only limited family of sounds, Poison-202 is designed to be able to reproduce almost any classic synthesizer timbre! Groove Rider GR-16 is a professional step-sequenced groove box, inspired by professional hardware drum machines and rhythm boxes. It has a powerful Poison-202 based two oscillator synthesizer engine, plus a big variety of included PCM drum samples, insert/send/master effects, arpeggiator, automation recording, modulator, ADSR and filter block, and more! Built-in factory pattern library includes patterns in different music styles, which will inspire you (the list will be appended with the regular updates). Check out the patterns demo video:
What’s New
Version 1.3.3
In this version (1.3.3):
– added a stereo delay effect per part (also known as Haas effect), controlled from the Part Parameters menu. You can specify the delay time between left and right channels in milliseconds, or turn it off for the part (by default);
– added new utility function: Shift part one step left or right, located in the Utils menu;
– chain mode: now, if you switch chain mode to “on” during playback, you won’t have to restart the current pattern to make chain mode work;
– added 4 factory preset patterns (named “Acid-1988”);
– some of factory preset patterns were slightly modified to use new stereo delay effect, introduced in this update.
In previous version (1.3.2):
– “Save to New…” function during playback now immediately switches to the new saved pattern without having to wait for current pattern to end;
– “Export Pattern Audio” functions were renamed to “Render Pattern Audio” for clarity; and “Export Pattern” (.gr16 format) functions were renamed to “Share Pattern” accordingly;
– “Render Chain Audio” and “Render Chain Stems” functions added, allowing you to render a chain of patterns, starting from current pattern, into one big audio file (or stems archive) for export. Be sure to turn “Chain Mode: On” setting to enable and use these functions;
– a progress bar added when rendering audio, with the “Cancel” button, allowing you to cancel rendering in the middle of the process if needed;
– bug fixed: patterns with non-standard rhythm base (especially 16 Triplets) were playing back and chained incorrectly;
– several minor, but important bug fixes.
One remarkable feature of GR-16 is that all the controls are arranged on one screen, just like on a real groove box device! It lets you access almost all useful parameters from the one screen. Forget about numerous sub-windows and dialogs, which ruined your inspiration in another musical apps! Groove Rider is the fastest path from your imagination to reality!
You can use GR-16 as a ready-to-go realtime musical instrument (groove box) in your jam sessions together with Ableton Link feature to synchronize it with your other music gear. Groove Rider is also very handy for quickly sketching your musical ideas, allowing you to instantly record them directly by using the Record function. Making music becomes easy and fun, in contrast with boring note drawing process and dealing with tons of files and expensive plugins in the DAW’s! Don’t loose your inspiration, boost it up with Groove Rider!

I try to update it on a daily basis (ok sometimes every two days) and I do my best to post useful apps only. My name is Jason Donnelly (Dj Puzzle).
You might know me from my royalty free loop packs and sound design. Some of the apps that contain my sounds are Synth One, EG Segments, Hammerhead, Retronyms AudioCopy, Audio Evolution Mobile, LP-5, iPRO.DJSAMPLER, Looptastic. My work is published by Roland, Antares, Magix, Soundtrack Loops, Sample Logic, Acoustica, Loopmasters and many more. Subscribe to our RSS feed below to get updated when new apps are posted.
