iFretless Bass is a professional virtual instrument that provides bass and guitar players with an expressive fretless playing surface. The layout is like an eight string bass guitar with the notes colored black and white like the keys of a piano. Although it looks different from a guitar neck, bass players will find it surprisingly easy to use.
The app’s ability to measure the force of touches on the screen allows it to respond to dynamics and accented notes with a wide range of different tones for each instrument.

Improvements to make Auxy even smoother:
– Sort your projects with tags. Swipe left in the list to tag a project.
– Reverse playback option for any sample. New toggle added under the length setting for each sample.
– Trigger the ducker with any sample. New toggle added under the volume setting for each sample.
– Quickly reorder instruments with drag and drop.
– ‘Select All’ option added to the editor. Touch and hold the grid until the selection box appears, then tap the box to select all notes in the loop.
– Current song length timer added to settings.
– The ‘Make new loops chromatic’ setting is now applied to all projects and properly stored between sessions.

Ribn 2 is a MIDI controller with 8 assignable ribbons. What makes Ribn unique is its ability to record and loop your finger movement. This allows you to add organic repeating modulation to your synths and effects, kind of like complex LFOs. You can assign a unique MIDI channel and CC# to each ribbon. Fluxly is a musical physics looper where you create new instrument scenes by moving and spinning colorful Fluxum sound sample players. Fluxly brings a whole new approach to knob twiddling and sound making. Now compatible with Audiobus.
You can choose from a bank of built-in sound samples, or record your own samples and play them back in either direction at any speed. By touching two Fluxum and pushing them together you can link them into looping gear train machines. You can also enable movement and let the built-in physics engine take over as the Fluxum bounce around the instrument for random sonic fun.
Recording can be done right in the app, and loops can be up to about 10 seconds long. You can also customize all of the sounds in Bank 1 by using iTunes and the filesharing features of your iPhone or iPad to upload any sound samples from your computer.

Korg announced Electribe Wave which is marketed for EDM producers. It comes with a hefty amount of aggressive sounding wavetables and cool motion automation to achieve some wicked Dubstep and Drum and Bass type growls. There aren’t a whole lot of presets (only 25) but there are quite a bit of drum samples. It is not an audio unit nor is does it support IAA. You can not import your own wavetables and samples either perhaps in a future update. There is also a Koass pad type X/Y pad.

CREATE COMPLEX SEQUENCES WITH RANDOMIZATION
The core of Senode is a graph of Nodes connected by Edges. You decide if it behaves like a simple vending machine or a complex pinball game. Each Node triggers a sound when activated, while Edges determine the direction of travel. Instruments are controlled by Emitters which send their Tokens onto the graph. That means, you can compose a generative music piece for a whole orchestra using the graph notation and a couple of Emitters! It gets more interesting if you add random directions or emit multiple Tokens at different time positions.
GRAPHICAL MULTI-TOUCH INTERFACE
You can compose and perform your music live using the intuitive multi-touch interface. The on-screen keyboard helps you to visualize and edit notes assigned to the currently selected Node. Drag and connect Nodes with multiple fingers or use the lasso tool. Activate a sequence by sending Tokens onto the graph. Use your fingers to step through sequences manually or tap the master clock. All synth parameters are accessible from the main panel with multi-touch as well.
INTEGRATED SYNTHESIZER
