Hello everyone! Dj Puzzle here as your guide and today I’d like to show you the basics of sampling with an iPad. This video is for those just starting out, those with very little knowledge of sampling on an iPad. I decided to use Beatmaker 3 because it’s one of the best sample sequencers for iOS in my opinion. We won’t dive deep into advanced sampling in this video perhaps I’ll publishing another one for that. I thought it would be fun to sample from a vinyl record for this one! This Polish jazz record from my collection was perfect because it has lots of isolated samples. I could have went on for a lot time grabbing sounds and playing with them but I wanted to keep the video under 25 mins. Perhaps there will be a part 2 in the near future. Let me know!
