Analogue synth audio unit for iOS

K-One is a classic, warm analog synth AUv3 app for iOS made in Audiokit.

Features:

Over 75 bespoke presets, made in consultation with some of the top music producers in the UK.
30 parameters for complete creative control. All mappable when used as an Auv3 audio unit.
K-One is based around four oscillators – a pulse wave, morphing sine-sawtooth wave, square sub and a noise oscillator.
A smooth, Moog-style resonant low pass filter, which can be modulated with its own envelope as well as via LFO.
5 different effects, including overdrive, delay, reverb and two custom made choruses, which give a deep, richness to the sound.
A non-resonant highpass filter.
Two ADSR envelopes for modulating the amp and filter.
Capable of an uncapped amount of polyphonic voices, or switch to the fat mono mode for basses and leads.
Pitch bend control.
A 127 note on-screen keyboard.
Compatible with Audiobus, Inter-App Audio, AUv3 and external midi control.

Modular synth for iPad

miRack is a Eurorack-style modular synthesizer. It aims to provide user experience and audio quality close to those of the real Eurorack hardware.

The app comes with a growing collection of open-source modules that are being created by third-party developers for and adapted for mobile devices by miRack team.

Supports Core MIDI input and background audio mode.

Newer devices are recommended for better performance. Modules may vary greatly in CPU usage, the size of the patch your device is able run will depend on the modules used.

Spectrum free synth for iOS

Spectrum is a collection of Audio Unit ports of popular eurorack synthesizer modules. To use Spectrum, load the Audio Units in your DAW or AU host of choice, like Audiobus, GarageBand or AUM. The app itself makes no sound.

Included are:

Spectrum – Multi-mode 8-voice polyphonic oscillator featuring 14 high quality oscillator algorithms
Modal – Modal synthesis. Bowed, Blowed, and Struck sounds through a 64-band resonator. Also included as an effect.
Resonator – 7 beautiful string generation algorithms. Also included as an effect
Granular – Granular sampler, looper, pitch shifter, reverb effect.

Each audiounit also features:

– modulation LFO
– modulation ADSR envelope
– XY touchpad (except on Modal)
– 2-source modulation matrix allowing for complex and evolving patches.
– MIDI CC control of parameters
– Loadable as an AudioUnit effect (except Spectrum)

Spectrum contains DSP code provided under the MIT open source license by Mutable Instruments.
