Randgrid an app for making electronic music. It’s perfect for those who are familiar with analog synthesizers and sequencers.

The interface of Randgrid is based on classic analog synthesizers, drum machines and step sequencers.

You have a very powerful setup at your fingertips with two monophonic virtual analog subtractive synthesizers and fourteen sampled drum parts.

Note that the synthesizers are real and not based on samples, they are calculated in realtime and every parameter change immediately affects the sound generation.

The Randgrid Drum Machine is full of features. Use parameter locks to change it’s parameters for each step in the pattern (the same goes for the synthesizers of course). This lets you build the most dynamic complex beats you ever could dream of. You can alter parameters like panning, volume, flam, start/stop position of the sample (making it possible to play parts of the samples both forward and reverse), or the amount of delay/echo you want on each step in the pattern.

The advanced step sequencer is the heart of Randgrid, it lets you control virtually every aspect of the drums and synthesizers. Use parameter locks to change cutoff, resonance, envelope modulation, panning and many more parameters of the synthesizers for each step in a pattern.

Jasuto Pro allows you to visually construct your own synths/effects, and use them to make sequences all on your device! With the addition of a fully-featured sampler you can now record/resample/edit, and even create entirely new samples by drawing right in the app.

Jasuto Pro uses the relative position of nodes and their connections to control the sound. So the scene not only represents the synthesis structure, but also a custom multi-touch control surface. Motion can be recorded per node giving you rich, flexible automation.

Connections can be created automatically by simply dragging nodes around, or manually. Each wire can be double-tapped to allow even more control of each connection.

Jasuto Pro comes installed with more than 45 modules. Each of the modules have been hand-optimized for your devices CPU, allowing you to create extremely complex scenes.

Jasuto Pro has a built-in FTP server, so you can efficiently transfer files to/from your device using your OS or FTP client. Also the new scene browser has the ability to download/upload/rate user created content from the ever growing community!

Sound Cells For iPhone and iPod Touch

Sound Cells is an interactive generative music app. Just touch the matrix to create some moving cells and see them interact with each other and generate sound in realtime.

If a cell hits the wall, it creates a sound. If a cell ends up in the same location as another one, they change directions. You can remove cells by touching them or by hitting the cell removing button.

The app comes with the 2 different sounds, which can be controlled in realtime for very expressive effects.
Also the app can generate MIDI output, so you can hook up a midi capable instrument for endless possibilities.
On the newest version, it is possible to choose the scale that the app will use, the tempo and the key. This allows the app to be able to become a performance tool, where it can play along different musical settings.

This is a universal app and on the iPad, it will use the full available resolution for a rich visual experience.

Magic Stave listens to you singing or playing an instrument and displays the notes played on a music stave and shows the note position on a piano keyboard or guitar fretboard.

Automatically detects the key signature you’re singing/playing.

Has a built-in tuner so you can see exactly how sharp or flat you are or tune your guitar to.

NOTE The free version does not allow you to use Magic Stave as a composition/ideas notepad. The midi recorder version will let you record detected notes as a MIDI file then export to GarageBand (or other sequencer) to hear it and see the music notation. Seems this company has used the same copy and detail information for both their free and paid version but the features are much different.
