Woodstepper Demo Video

Hey friends! I just moved to a new studio space so please forgive me for the video quality as I haven’t had a chance to test the waters and get the lighting dialed in yet. This is the first video I shot in the new space and now I know what tweaks are needed. With that said here is a quick start guide for Woodstepper. I just wanted to get you started using it as a DSP and sampler within AUM. It is a very deep app so please understand that I am considering a second video , part 2 if you will, with more in depth explanations of the MIDI and Oscillator features. I hope this gives you a general idea as to what this awesome app can do!

How To Sample With an iPad

Hello everyone! Dj Puzzle here as your guide and today I’d like to show you the basics of sampling with an iPad. This video is for those just starting out, those with very little knowledge of sampling on an iPad. I decided to use Beatmaker 3 because it’s one of the best sample sequencers for iOS in my opinion. We won’t dive deep into advanced sampling in this video perhaps I’ll publishing another one for that. I thought it would be fun to sample from a vinyl record for this one! This Polish jazz record from my collection was perfect because it has lots of isolated samples. I could have went on for a lot time grabbing sounds and playing with them but I wanted to keep the video under 25 mins. Perhaps there will be a part 2 in the near future. Let me know! I’m super stoked about today’s episode (warning this is a long video that covers a lot) because we get to talk about two of my very favorite things Korg Gadget and Propellerheads Rex files! This demonstration will give you a brief history of rex files as well as explain what exactly they are and how you can make them your self. Then we transition into importing my free rex files into Korg Gadget Stockholm and then we close with a walkthrough /demo for Stockholm using some of those same free rex loops. Beatmaker 3 Traditional DAW

I AM SO STOKED to share the latest BM3 guide I just produced. I think it’s going to blow the app wide open for those who still struggle with the app. Those who come from traditional DAW style work flow. The genre of choice Shoegazer/Space Rock/Post Rock whatever you want to call it was a LOT of fun writing and producing for you in this video. I completed a video I’ve had in my mind for about seven days. The goal is to continue with keeping things simple and down to earth so that I could help those who struggle with Beatmaker 3.
