Bitcrusher and resampler audio unit

Degrader is a combined resampler and bit crusher AUv3 plugin. It can be used to simulate the sound of vintage digital gear, as a lofi-effect or as a plain distortion unit. Since all parameters are fully automatable it’s a handy plugin for creating unique and interesting drops, sweeps and other transitions.

It also comes with a handful of factory presets.

• Resamples between 250 Hz and 96 kHz.
• Low pass filter with different characteristics both pre and post resampling.
• Bit depth can continuously be altered between 3 and 24 bits.
• Additional distortion algorithm.

Route midi to external gear in Garageband with RouteMIDI

RouteMIDI, in conjunction with a DAW such as Garageband, will allow you to create tracks that will use any of your external MIDI synthesizers for that track, as alternate to instruments etc. built into the DAW. Use external MIDI gear with Garageband and this app!

For each track that you select RouteMIDI as it’s Audio Unit, you will be able to browse through whatever external devices are connected. Then, you may optionally direct the MIDI to any of the standard 16 Channels so that Multi-Timbral units are supported.

Audio unit compressor with sidechain

Woodpressor is a high-end audio compressor. It is both a standalone app supporting IAA (Inter-App Audio) and an AUv3 audio unit plugin.
It has all the classic compressor controls like “Threshold”, “Attack”, “Release”, “Ratio”, etc
but also has some extra features not commonly found on other compressors.

User Presets are written to iCloud Drive which makes them automatically available (and synced, and backed-up) on all devices (and all host apps or DAW’s) running Woodpressor.
