Poison 202 Adds Random Button
Author View comments Tags Tags: , , ,

Poison-202 is a professional Vintage Midi Synthesizer. Made by musicians for musicians, it is inspired by famous classic hardware synthesizers of 80’s and 90’s and has all the main sound creation blocks you can imagine: oscillators, cutoff Filters, ADSR-envelopes, ring, cross modulation, LFOs, sync, super-saw oscillator and more! Unlike many other software synthesizers at the market, which can reproduce only limited family of sounds, Poison-202 is designed to be able to reproduce almost any classic synthesizer timbre!

– supported AudioBus SDK updated to version 3.0.3;
– added “Random” button (on the Patch page of the standalone currently): now you can randomize current patch with built-in pseudo randomizer to achieve interesting unpredictable sounds;
– added support of Files.app on iOS 11 to ease access to imported/exported p202 user bank files, located in Documents folder;
– added support of iOS share sheet to ease importing and exporting of p202 user bank files from external locations;
– fixed crash on some devices with iOS 11 when locking the screen/fetching app to the background;
– fixed bug when playing patch in Solo mode, some notes sometimes could rip off without release;
– other minor improvements.

The library of 420 built-in factory presets includes famous patches that can be heard in the compositions of such electronic and rave scene music performers as The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Azzido Da Bass, Darude, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk and many others!

You can play it with your fingers on iPhone / iPad, or you can plug-in your favorite USB MIDI keyboard into your device using Apple’s Lightning to USB Camera Adapter and turn Poison-202 into a real synthesizer module!

FM synthesizers make sounds with Frequency Modulation.
FM brings rich and brilliant sounds which are impossible to create with analog one.
It makes very complex waves with simple modulations.
The same method is used for a radio.
The synthesizer gained much popularity in the 1980s.

This app lets you make sounds freely with 156 voice parameters.
Almost all parameters are compatible with DX7.

Audio Unit v3 compatible.
Audiobus compatible.
32 algorithms included.
You can manage the hardware DX7 when it is connected with external MIDI cables.
Supports DX7 System Exclusive Messages (SysEx) and syx files.
Supports Zip files.

Synthscaper New Designer Tool Update
Author View comments Tags Tags: ,

Synthesizer specially designed for creating and experiments with ambient soundscapes in wide range from noises to melodic instruments and everything in between.

You can construct melodic pads or atonal soundscapes from different kind of built-in or downloaded samples by using all power of multi-layered oscillators, chains of filters and effects, envelope generators and low frequency oscillators. Or just use predefined scenes and creating your own scenes from library of oscillators presets.

Very flexible settings of each module give you a great opportunity for creating unique and colorful sounding from usual instruments or natural samples and adding automated changes and spatial effects for an endless variations. Different ways of assigning screen and MIDI keyboards to the oscillators provide very advanced features to control the sound. The on-screen keyboard is adapted to create special effects and varying the continuous textures and drones.

The Designer tool using the neural network generates new presets based on already existing by adding some random variations and checking the result so that the new preset remains similar to the selected pattern.

What’s New in Version 1.3
In this update added a new tool Designer (only for iPad, for iPhone in the next update) that is intended to automatically generate and tweaking new presets and scenes.
