MULTI-TOUCH CONTROL:

There are no on-screen knobs, keys, or sliders to fiddle with; all synthesis is driven by your multi-touch performance. Touch relationships like distances / angles / timings perform all the controller functions. It’s just you and the full screen multi-touch performance area.

EVERY synthesis parameter can be controlled by ANY multi-touch controller. The patch possibilities are limitless.

DEVICE MOTION CONTROL:

Use the iPad’s accelerometer, gyroscope, and even the compass to attack your synthesis patch! Tilt and move the iPad to change any filter, effect, or module. You can create real vibrato by moving the iPad during performance, or change the speed of a sequencer by tilting forward and backward!

SYNTHESIS:

TC-11 has 8 voice polyphony for full, real-time synthesis. The audio engine has been highly optimized to deliver crisp, responsive performance. Choose from 22 oscillator waveforms, 3 oscillator types, 3 filter types, 4 unique effects, amplitude modulation, and panning control.

Fully programmable AHDSR, LFO, and sequencer modules make TC-11 the most capable iOS synthesizer in the world.

NanoLoop Icon

Nanoloop combines sequencer, synthesizer and sampler in one package. It provides all functions for creating electronic music from scratch. Watch the video tutorial below to learn how to use Nanoloop.

– Easy to use sequencer, suitable for rhythm and melody
– Automatisation of all parameters
– 8 channels, each can be synth or sampler
– 8 patterns per channel
– Sample via microphone
– Re-sample
– Polyphonic FM-, PWM- and noise synth
– Song editor with loop function
– Send and receive projects via e-mail
– WAV export
– Sharing projects and audio in file sharing apps like Dropbox is possible when these apps are installed.
– MIDI sync with other devices

The Synth

Nanoloop’s FM synth offers a maximum of flexibility within a small set of parameters. It comes with a stereo modulator detune effect and covers the typical clean bells and Rhodes-like sounds, spheric pads, thick beats and basses.

The Sequencer

The stepsequencer visualises the rhythmic structure in a compact 4×4 square matrix, making it very easy to lay out patterns.

The Sampler

Besides A/D envelope, loop function, start offset, tune and fine tune, the puristic sampler comes without effects. You can record up to 6 seconds via microphone or copy samples via iTunes.

Share

With nanoloop for iPhone, you can send your saved projects to other nanoloop users and your own PC via e-mail. If nanoloop is installed on the recipient’s iPhone / iPod, she/he can simply tap on the file name in the received e-mail to start nanoloop and import the attached file so that it is available for editing. This makes collaboration very easy, multiple users around the world can work on the same project by simply e-mailing the file.

Export

Songs can be exported to a WAV file that is accessible via iTunes (simply drag & drop files in finder). The exported file is also copied to the clipboard so that it can be pasted in other apps that support pasting audio. If a file sharing app like Dropbox is installed, you can upload the file there.

Elastic Drums For iOS

Elastic Drums (published by MoMinstruments, the instruments app label of Mouse on Mars and friends), is a music app with 6 channels of synthesized drum sounds, a step sequencer and 4 fx channels, all tweakable in an elastic way. The sound range is from classical analog beatbox style to the weirdest effect drone soundscapes. Because all sounds get generated in realtime, the app is cpu heavy! iPhones 5 and greater can handle it with no problem, on iPhone 4s and iPad 2 effects 3 and 4 get switched off by the engine automatically to save some cpu power. iPhone 4 and iPad1 are NOT recommended!

What’s New in Version 1.2
– better inter-app audio (IAA) implementation with transport control
– background audio on/off switch (mixer -> options)
– save battery power with background audio switched off
– start/stop/(sync) via external Midi (mixer -> options)
– extended number of patterns
– new presets
– iPad2, iPhone4s improvement: fx2, fx4 were not properly switched off
– slightly performance improvements due to fx off switching in master section
– choose automate and velocity target at the same time is dissalowed (could crash app)
– updated manual (file -> options)
– debugged randomize behavior

Features:
– 6 synth channels with 10 different percussion synth engines (kick, snare, hit, clap, tom, wobble, fm, fm4, square, grain)
– 12 parameters for each synth engine
– automation for each parameter via knob recording or velocity
– 4 send effect channels with 2×11 mono effects and 2 x 9 stereo effects
– automation for all of the 8 possible effect parameters via xy pad
– master effects (stutter, delay, compressor …)
– 16 step sequencer for the 6 channels, each with it’s own tempo multiplier & length
– record audio and export to Soundcloud or Audioshare
– email audio recordings and presets
– iOS 8 supported
– Audiobus supported
– Inter-App audio (IAA) supported with transport control
– Midi start/stop/(sync)

Plans for upcoming versions:
– iPad version (landscape instead of portrait) – UNIVERSAL !
– new sequencer features (rolls, etc.)
– new synth engines (other percussions, sampler, etc)
