Generative midi sequencer for ios

TATAT is a generative MIDI sequencer designed to create always-changing sequences, to quickly sketch music ideas, to add unexpected events to fixed patterns.

If you’re looking for new ways of generating musical ideas, then look no further than TATAT! Set up your parameters, define a mood and listen to an endless flow of notes which you can then record, tweak, and play along to.

Launch offer!
$2.99/€2.99 instead of $6.99/€6.99
Until June 30th

HOW IT WORKS ///
TATAT generates infinite and always changing sequences of notes.
You cannot say exactly what TATAT will do, but you can suggest a path to it: by setting up its parameters you can create what we call a mood for TATAT. A mood is a configuration of notes, intervals, time fragmentation, velocity fluctuation, and other factors.
Once you set a mood that you are happy with, you’ll listen to an infinite stream of events, always changing, all staying in the mood.

At this point, according to your needs, you can:
– Let TATAT play its stream, and make some intervention to control it: to add silence (Less), to obtain smooth accelerando and ritardando (Ratio), to control how TATAT generates intervals. You can enable Key In function to change notes on the fly.
– Add some stability by controlling/automating the Liv/Mem slider, moving between the generated stream and frozen patterns.
– Use TATAT to send its notes to enrich (by enabling Thru) existing/incoming MIDI data/parts.

TATAT gives you excellent results both with melodic/harmonic and percussive parts!

MULTIPLE TIME RES /// Set chance for each time resolution to rule the stream, and scale results with main ratio to create organic time fluctuations.

NOTES /// Set chance for each notes to get triggered, enable the keys toggle to change the notes on the fly, giving a different color to the stream.

DOUBLE HIT /// Set two intervals and the probability they got triggered, adding harmonic weight to the stream.

LET’S PROCESS THE STREAM! /// You can process the generated notes with several parameters: add a velocity variation, a delay, set the length, randomize, and mute some notes. It’s easy and intuitive.

FLOW VS PATTERN /// LIV/MEM parameter has a 0-100% range. When is set on 0%, a buffer with given length continuously records the stream; when it’s different than 0%, the buffer got locked, and you set the chance to get live or buffered notes. When you set 100% you always have the buffer content as a static pattern. You add the stability you want to the lunatic stream!

*** Please note: TATAT is an Audio Unit extension (AUv3) – it only works in an AUv3 host app compatible with MIDI FX like AUM, Logic Pro, Cubasis, etc… ***

PatternBud MIDI CC Sequencer

PatternBud MIDI CC Sequencer

PatternBud is a MIDI CC sequencer for sequencing the patterns of your apps. If you are using a lot of Audio/MIDI apps with multiple patterns, then you can use PatternBud and sequence the patterns quickly.

You can add multiple tracks to PatternBud. Each track has its own MIDI CC number and MIDI Channel. You can add unlimited steps to your tracks. Each step has a MIDI CC value which you can set by tapping the step. The steps can also have multiple actions as well. You can assign actions to your steps for jumping a random/specific step or jumping a random/specific pattern.

4Pockets Midi Layers

4Pockets Midi Layers

MIDI Layers is an AUv3 MIDI plugin designed to allow sophisticated routing of MIDI data in hosts such as AUM or Cubasis.
Have you ever wanted to play multiple instruments from a single master keyboard during a live performance? Would you like to be able to set up keyboard splits, crossfade layers or create an ensemble of layered instruments? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then MIDI Layers may be your solution.

Layers allows you to create up to 12 scenes, each with up to 127 layers, spanning your entire master keyboard. These scenes allow you to seamlessly switch between various layer mappings at any time during a performance.
Each layer controls the MIDI output, which can be routed to one of MIDI Layers 16 output ports and 16 channels. So if you have 5 layers in your scene, each layer is able to divert MIDI key input to 5 destinations, allowing you to control 5 instruments from one master keyboard.
Layers can overlap, meaning you can create an ensemble of two or more instruments. Layers can also have cross fades so that you can fade from one instrument to another across a specified range. You can also control the velocity curves of a layer if you need to emphasize note velocity at a certain set of octaves.

Each layer can also be remapped so that you can target a different key range on the destination instrument. This allows you to have several single note layers that can target specific drum machine samples for instance.
You can assign a song per scene, or have several scenes containing parts of the same song. Switching scenes is simple, using the on screen scene buttons, via AU parameters, or you can even add a special control layer to a scene which can then be triggered via your master keyboard.

It is also possible to assign a Program Changes to a layer. When you switch scenes, each layer can fire off its own program change to your destination instruments.
Each scene can be assigned its own scale, which enables you to play using only the white notes so say goodbye to wrong notes.
Finally, layers can be assigned to mute groups, allowing you to quickly turn on/off groups of layers with a single key or button press.

Features:
○ Up to 127 layers per scene.
○ 12 scenes per preset.
○ Supports 16 output ports and 16 channels.
○ Remote switching of scenes using MIDI or AU.
○ Supports layer mutes and mute groups.
○ Named scenes with large scene selection mode.
○ Supports scales per scene which can be played using white notes only.
○ Each layer can define a Program Change that is sent when scenes are switched.
○ Supports per layer velocity curve.
○ Supports per layer remapping of notes on output.
○ Each layer can have a cross fade settings assigned.
○ Definable Master Keyboard size (6, 7, 8 or 10 octave).
○ Scene and mute control layers.
○ Provides default custom layouts.

Please Note: This product will not work with GarageBand since it cannot load AUv3 MIDI plugins.

Free MIDI sequencer app

Free MIDI sequencer app

Physicles, is a free MIDI app.

This is a physics-based AU MIDI plugin collection – although right now there is only one plugin, Bouncy. I plan to create at least one more plugin (Sandbox), although it will take a while.

So, what is Physicle Bouncy? This is a particle emitter AUv3 MIDI app that is heavily influenced by Caelestis, with a little dose of PHYsynth. In more detail: in this app, various balls bounce within a (rotating) box; and MIDI messages are generated whenever a ball collides with the side of the box. All balls and the border follow the laws of physics (although with no gravity and perfect elasticity), and their velocity and direction can be changed individually. Besides, it is possible to “play” the AU, by changing the notes played by the box or by the balls upon collision by using the host’s piano. With this it is possible to play chords using interesting rhythms o:) . Besides, I have used some of the conventions of the Rozeta suite that I think all AU MIDI apps should have, like the possibility to change the current playground using the host’s piano (keys C1-C2)
