Here you’ll also find non-melodic soundscapes that explore classic film score environments—some with a dark, swampy feel that brings to mind the boggy gestures of Eno’s On Land, and some that recall the off-world colonial feel of Peter Namlook’s legendary FAX recordings. The piano material is ethereal—reverb-drenched, distant, and semi-remote; the longest piano samples cover about 80 seconds—easily long enough to serve as fully produced free-standing compositions.
