Modley is a modulation delay with effect insert capabilities, which lets you design the whole delay signal with several carefully selected effect modules, to create customized signal flows and unique sounds.
The three effect racks provide insert slots for different stages of the processing.
Pre rack
Applies effects before the delay loop.
Loop rack
Applies effects to the delay loop. Those effects will be applied to the input signal each delay bounce.
Post rack
Effects after the delay delay loop.
Available FX inserts
• Panner – Auto panning effect.
• Delay – Digital stereo delay
• Chorus – Classic chorus
• Flanger – Flanger with feedback, tone, speed, mix and amount
• Phaser – Classic phaser with the option to decide how many stages to be used
• Reverb – Digital reverb
• Vibrato – A stereo vibrato with reshapeable curve

Obs! Modley consumes a lot of CPU and RAM, so if you’re having trouble using multiple instances at the same time, try to freeze some tracks and/or increase the buffer size.
Modley is an AUv3 plugin that only works in an AUv3 compliant host like Garageband, AUM, Cubasis, Beatmaker 3, Auria etc.
STARK is a fully fledged amplifier simulator consisting of four modules: Amplifier, Cabinet, Room and effects slots. These modules are processing audio separately, which makes it possible to combine different amplifiers with different cabinets and rooms.
The amp module offers 12 different amplifier profiles. It has both a clean mode and a overdrive mode, an equalizer functionality (including presence), and a booster controlling the end stage amplification saturation.
Cabinet simulation consists of 10 different cabinets of various sizes and sound. This module also offers a stereo width knob that simulates the distance between two microphones put in front of the cone.
Room simulation offers 6 different kinds of rooms, where each room size can be changed between Small, Medium and Large. There’s also a decay parameter controlling reflectivity of the walls and a dry/wet mix.
The pedal board contains 4 slots where any of the 14 effects can be inserted. The order of the pedals can easily be changed using drag and drop.

Degrader is a combined resampler and bit crusher AUv3 plugin. It can be used to simulate the sound of vintage digital gear, as a lofi-effect or as a plain distortion unit. Since all parameters are fully automatable it’s a handy plugin for creating unique and interesting drops, sweeps and other transitions.
It also comes with a handful of factory presets.
Features:
• Resamples between 250 Hz and 96 kHz.
• Low pass filter with different characteristics both pre and post resampling.
• Bit depth can continuously be altered between 3 and 24 bits.
• Additional distortion algorithm.
• Parameter linking (control several parameters with one knob)
• Input and output gain control.
• Dry / Wet mix.
• Several factory presets simulating different vintage gear.

Hello every body this is Jason Donnelly aka Dj Puzzle reporting for my website ipadloops.com and today I’m going to show you two cool new effects. Both effects emulate an old cassette tape meaning they can make your brand new sparkling mix sound like it was playing back on an old broken down tape player. On one hand we have Fly Tape by MSXII and the other DAW Cassette by Klevgrand. They are both unique in their own way and they were both released just recently within the past couple of weeeks so I wanted to do a sort of comparison review for both in one video. Now I noticed a lot of the demos for these apps show the app on a master buss affecting the whole mix so I wanted to demo them as an insert effect on a single track. In this case a midi track using an AU instrument.
*I should add “Head Quality” in DAW Cassette is the LoFi effect in that one I kinda rushed over it and skipped that info.
iPad Loops is an iOS music production blog dedicated to exposing the best iPad apps musicians, producers, and Djs. This is not a database of every app. It is, however, one of useful recommendations from someone with many years in music production. I try to update it on a daily basis (ok sometimes every two days) and I do my best to post useful apps only. My name is Jason Donnelly (Dj Puzzle).
You might know me from my royalty free loop packs and sound design. Some of the apps that contain my sounds are Synth One, EG Segments, Hammerhead, Retronyms AudioCopy, Audio Evolution Mobile, LP-5, iPRO.DJSAMPLER, Looptastic. My work is published by Roland, Antares, Magix, Soundtrack Loops, Sample Logic, Acoustica, Loopmasters and many more. Subscribe to our RSS feed below to get updated when new apps are posted.
