Klevgrand Tines Percussion App

Ting provides 12 different percussive sounds originating from t(h)ings that can be found in most of ordinary households. Each sound is carefully multi-sampled and processed with the common goal to be musically playable. Ting is intended to be a creative tool and a substitute for ordinary drum and percussion instruments. Altogether ~500 individual samples are used to make this instrument. In addition to the sounds, there is an EQ, a room simulator, a reverb and a compressor.

Tweaking parameters for each sound:

* Pan
* Gain Level
* Dynamics
* Room amount
* Reverb amount
* Pitch (-12 semitones to +6 semitones)

Global parameters:

* EQ – Treble, Midi and Bass gain levels
* 5 different rooms and 6 different reverbs
* Reverb decay time and a global reverb level
* Compression amount
* Output Level

Sounds available:

CAR KEYS – A subtle hit, works great as a hihat substitute
SILVERWARE – Fork and Knife
BIG BOX – A large wooden box with some junk inside slapped with the fist
FLOOR STOMP – Stomping the floor makes a great bass drum!

Knorr Bass Exciter App

Knorr is a plugin that adds intensity and edge to a monophonic low frequency audio source (like a bass). The algorithm adds overtones to an existing sound in a way that isn’t possible with ordinary distortion or filtering.

The Knorr Algorithm

The underlying algorithm uses a combination of filtering, amplitude- , and frequency modulation to process incoming audio. Although Knorr is developed with bass sounds in mind, it can be used on any monophonic sound source as long as there is audio content available in the low mids (and below).

**User interface**

XY Pad – Controls the bandwidth and amount of energy sent to the algorithm. Click and drag to move the marker.

Range (X-axis) – Sets a low pass filter frequency of the signal to be sent to the algorithm. Spans from 100 Hz to 1 kHz.

Level (Y-axis) – Sets the level of the low passed audio content.

Bite (SOFT, MEDIUM, HARD) – Alters the amount of intensity of the modulations.

Output – Sets the output level.

Bypass – Turns the effect on or off.

Frequency Response graph – Shows the frequency response of the internal modulation signal.

Note that Knorr is a AUv3 only and and needs to be launched via a AUv3 compatible host like GarageBand, Cubasis, Auria or similar. It will not work as a stand alone application.

Klevgrand Haaze 2 Stereo Widening App

Haaze is a 16 band stereo widening tool that utilizes three different methods of controlling the stereo width and spatial positioning of an audio stream.

• Haas – adds a small delay to the left or right audio channel which will make the listener believe the sounds arrives from the side that’s reaching the ear first.

• Pan – Alters the gain level on one of the audio channels. All 16 bands can be panned separately, so this method gets quite equal to the common “split eq” function in various equalizers.

• MS Stereo. Controls the output stereo width on each band, from normal stereo signal to mono.

There’s also a view for controlling the output gain of all bands separately.

Changes from the initial version:

• New and more transparent crossover filters
• Haas: Better control for each band
• Split EQ: Now called “PAN” and provides much more control over.
• MS Stereo: New feature in v2.0.0
• Gain: New feature in v2.0.0
• Visualization: New feature in v2.0.0
• Brand new and more intuitive UI for a better work flow.
• Several factory presets.

Full documentation available inside the app or at https://klevgrand.se/downloads/haaze-docs/

Haaze 2 is an AUv3 plugin that only works in an AUv3 compliant host like Garageband, AUM, Cubasis, Beatmaker 3, Auria etc.
