QuantiChord Chord generator app for iOS

“QuantiChord” is a MIDI effect that generates chords from incoming notes and quantizes the results to a pre-defined scale. It can be used as a standalone application or as an Audio Unit MIDI effect plug-in.

The chord is generated by adding up to 8 transposed notes to the original note played. Once the chord is generated, it is quantized to limit it to the selected output scale.

The application supports full internal and external MIDI connections for input and output. An internal sound bank is included.

The Audio Unit MIDI effect plug-in supports multiple instances. A compatible host is required to run the plug-in. The host must support the Audio Unit MIDI effect format.

– You will be prompted before BeatMaker 3 performs a library update / indexing. This will resolve the issue with slow app launch. You can always perform this action from the Settings screen within the app.
– Indexing of library files is now quicker and more robust.
– When indexing files and downloading packs from the sound-store, make sure the device doesn’t auto-locks.
– If the library database gets corrupted, BeatMaker 3 will warn you and offer to reset it.
– Added an option in the iOS Settings app, to reset the database file. This can solve issue with bogus libraries.
– Added a way to enable or disable the lookahead in the “Dynamics” effect, as well as setting the lookahead time for further tweaking.

Ruismaker Noir is almost available to the public. Bram Bos is currently coding away but gives us a rough ETA of 1 week give or take a few days!!

Woot I was lucky enough to get a quick testflight sneak peak and I’m loving this app so much thanks. Here is a quick screen capture of an idea I started within minutes after downloading this app.
