miniSynth PRO is a fully-featured, professional-grade virtual analogue synthesizer. It can work as a polyphonic or a monophonic synthesizer at the flip of a switch. It incorporates an improved version of the time proven zero latency “push-pull” Yonac keyboard algorithm that powers our existing synthesizers, and features a highly customized version of our original analogue-clone “Vincent” tone shaping filter. More importantly, it marks the debut of our brand new cutting-edge YASSE (pronounced “Yah-See”) modular sound sequencing and synthesis engine, developed in our labs over the last three years.

As a step up on its predecessors, miniSynth PRO is designed as an FM / Subtractive hybrid synth. Among other innovations, it features our special dynamic waveform selection algorithm, individually parameterized voice processing, and carefully selected waveforms driving its dual interactive oscillators and its five-destination LFO.

miniSynth PRO offers many other features to render music making easier. They include a dedicated arpeggiator module, dual individually adjustable keyboards, user control matrix with configurable assignments, and 82 presets designed by actual musicians. Arpeggiator Synth App By Sound Trends

I had the pleasure of contributing content for this cool new app by Sound Trends. It’s also available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Grüvtron = Jam, perform, and produce with the new Sound Trends electronic music app, Grüvtron. Now available for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, Grüvtron features sounds, sequences / patterns, and drum beats in electronic music styles and is designed to allow for easy jamming by one or multiple users.

To use Grüvtron, choose from the list of Presets (arpeggios, basses, leads, loops, and so forth) and the app will automatically load the appropriate sequences, sound, and drum beat. Then hit Play and touch a square on the grid to jam. If you hold multiple squares, Grüvtron morphs between the sequences and keeps it all grooving with the beat. Use the Modulation strip to control filter and add vibrato and other expressive effects.

The BeatSync feature allows two iOS devices to automatically sync their tempos for simplified jams and performance setups. Moreover, you can use two devices each with a copy of Grüvtron playing different instruments and beats, or use Grüvtron with Sound Trends Looptastic (HD or Producer).
