What is THE best vocoder for iPad? Here are two of our favorites.
iVoxel is a combination of a voice optimized synthesizer and a vocoder. The vocoder part is based on the Matrix vocoder from VirSyn used by many famous artists – one of them the well known german group Kraftwerk. Voix is an inexspensive vocoder for iPad that lets you play your voice like a synth. With Voix, your voice sounds like a singing robot.
WARNING: This app does not work on and iPad 1 with an Alesis iO Dock. I was all excited to get a nice portable vocoder setup for my iO Dock only to find I wasted my money. I also thought it would be nice for them to include more waveforms. There is only one from what I can tell.
