NOTE: This app is intended to be a live instrument controlled with a MIDI Keyboard. The IAA integration is very basic. Thank you. The app does NOT work well with iOS DAWs like Cubasis. We are working on future apps that will work better in DAWs using AUv3.

What’s New:

V1.1.4: New warm tube-drive algorithm. The “Overdrive” knob gives you some nice crunch. Turn it up halfway, and turn on the Auto Panner for a nice “Rotary Speaker” effect. It adds character while retaining the sonic characteristics of the source tone. This is great for a nice, vintage EP drive. BTW, thanks for all the emails. • We spent weeks coming up with beautiful velocity curves individually tailored to each sound. This was done with code. Meaning, we did not increase the storage space!
• Better MIDI keyboard velocity. Each preset has a unique velocity response, inspired by the original hardware.
• We found that Attack/Release controls are the most useful envelopes for a sample-based instrument like FM Player. Turn up the Release knob all the way for beautiful and floating sounds.
• We updated the GitHub source-code repo with these new Attack/Release controls. Plus, there is a new programming tutorial video on our website, audiokitpro.com
• We are all volunteers, working hard for you. We do not get paid anything. And, we make FM Player free so musicians all over the world can enjoy it!

Synthwave Presets For Zeeon

Zeeon is a virtual analog synthesizer, powered by an advanced analog circuit modelling engine. We spent a lot of time analysing iconic analog synths, both vintage and modern, to find out which parts of the circuit contribute most to their specific character. We used this knowledge to create a unique synth, with focus on what’s most important – the pure, organic and detailed sound. Many analog synth emulations sound dull. Not Zeeon. We take care of the entire spectrum range from deep lows to sweet highs. All audio and modulation signals are processed at 176 KHz (4x oversampling).

Sampled electric harpsichord, left uncalibrated and slightly out of tune for analog realism, for the price of a shot of whiskey.

Each pickup was recorded to a separate channel (left/right). Use a cable splitter and plug into two amps or recording channels to mix different sounds, just like the real thing.
Recorded in 24bit-44Khz with Mytek192. Made with Audiokit and Romplayer.

-More customization options added. I understand that both the cowbell and tambourine can get in the way some times, so now you can remove them from the drum set.
-Improved touch sensitivity for devices with 3D Touch.
-Pan the drum parts for a rolling effect (crescendo or decrescendo).
-Fix an issue that was not allowing users to play both the bass drum and the toms too fast. Double kicking with the fingers is now much smoother.
-Change the top bar layout a bit so it is easier to setup customized drum sets. Also moved the mixer to the left of the screen so you can choose the drum parts and at the same time mix the volume and tune.
-Fixed some volume balance issues with the standard drum sets.
-Many other bug fixes
