Rytmik Ultimate

Rytmik Ultimate is a powerful music station allowing you not only to play with samples and musical instruments but also to mix them together, shape them and create music clips or whole songs for your Friday night set-list.

Thanks to new features, Rytmik Ultimate takes music creation to a whole new level. Rytmik allows you to share your songs with other users through the Rytmik Cloud and can also serve as a music player for songs uploaded on Rytmik Cloud with it. On top of that, users can exchange their songs and cooperate on their composing.

Once your work is complete, you can save it in WAV format to local storage or export to AudioShare.

Fixes:
– Copying an instrument with a different note sequence length retains sequence length.
– Left and right song selectors are constrained now.
– Some GUI quirks were repaired.
– Lock is active only for songs on public cloud.
– Doubleclick on clip in track deleted this clip from track when MOVE was switched on.
– Some other minor bugs were repaired.

Improvements:
– During preview the progress bar is shown and song preview position may be adjusted.

Loopersonic Live Looping App For iOS

LooperSonic by David O’Neal is a multi-track audio looper and recorder that will take your loops to the next level. Use it like a loop pedal to make loops, and then arrange those loops into complete songs with cut, copy, trim, paste, reverse, and undo/redo.

CREATE
Record a loop by tapping the record button at the beginning and the end of the loop just as you would with a loop pedal. Or start the metronome and set your loop to count in for hands free looping. Change the loop points on the fly while recording new loops without stopping playback. You can also do straight recordings without looping.

EDIT
Use cut, copy, trim, and paste to structure your loops and recordings into a song. Turn a loop into a backing track for a verse by duplicating a loop for a few bars. Merge tracks to make room for more recordings. Undo and redo recordings and edits up to 100 times.

PLAY
When you change the tempo, the pitch changes along with it, like a record player. Use this to make a guitar sound like a bass, or to sing out of your range. Along with the reverse feature you can make some pretty cool effects.

SHARE
Get audio in and out using Inter-App audio, AudioBus, and/or audio copy/paste. Share individual clips or a whole song mix with ease. Audio can be copied from song to song. Or a selection of clips can be mixed down and shared without stopping playback.

SoundPrism has to be one of my all time favorite midi controller apps. I am instantly inspired upon touching this app. I first acquired SoundPrism Pro back in 2011 and created a demo video using it to control my Nord Lead 3 (see video below). Now 5 years later we have SoundPrism Link edition. The Link edition allows SoundPrism to sync to other apps and hardware using Live Link by Ableton. Link Edition integrates flawlessly into the new Ableton Link workflow with a totally redesigned sound engine that syncs with other Link enabled apps. This new edition also includes a lot of new sounds and presets. The sound designers behind SoundPrism have always impressed me with their rich beautiful sounds.

I first saw moForte at a NAMM show a couple years ago and was instantly impressed by it’s sound. This new update really put this guitar app over the top. moForte Guitar is a virtual guitar based on modeling the physics and performance techniques of the guitar. Because the moForte Guitar is modeled rather than based on playing back samples, the performance experience is uniquely expressive and interactive.
