The following video guide shows you how to live loop with an iPad, a foot pedal, LoopTree, and Midibridge. The foot pedal in this video is a Behringer FCB1010 and the audio interface Focusrite Scarlett 18i8. The Focusrite audio interface is there to send sound from the iPad to the sound system NOT to record audio into LoopTree the looping app. The sound sound source in this video is internal within the iPad itself and can be routed to LoopTree via Audiobus.
MidiBridge is used to connect a MIDI foot pedal (Behringer FCB1010) with LoopTree to give you remote control of REC, Toggle and Clear.
A MIDI keyboard is used to control SampleTank (the internal sound source of choice. You can choose whichever app you prefer) , a foot pedal to control LoopTree and we’ll glue it all together with Audiobus and MidiBridge.
Let’s have a look at the video!
LoopTree is an exciting new breed of looper that brings more fun than ever to creating live music! Record and group practically unlimited vocal and instrumental loops using a powerful, layered interface that gives you unrivaled control over the music you create. Get your creative juices flowing and evolve your loops using the built-in filter and multi-touch beat repeat.
LoopTree solves the problem of destructive merging by instead combining your loops into layers. You retain individual control over your original loops and you can also control them as one using the new layer.
